Do I need a Single-User or Multi-User version? A Lab pack?

Single User: You receive one copy of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM intended for use on one computer only.

Multi-User (Site License): You receive one copy of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM intended for use on as many computers as you have in one building only. The contents of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM may be copied onto each computer hard drive or may be installed on a file server for computers on a network.

Lab Pack of 5: You receive 5 copies of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM for use on 5 computers. Lab packs are not available for An Introduction to Structural Methods, Hands-On Mineral Identification, and Arches National Park Geology Tour.

How do I tell if I have a Single-User or Multi-User license?

All programs are shipped with an Official License Agreement inside the packaging. You will see either “Multi-User” or “Single-User” at the top of the agreement. If you purchased your CD-ROM directly from us, call or email, we may have a record of which license you purchased.

How do I purchase an upgrade for one of my programs?

To order a version upgrade, select the “Upgrade” option on the product page, or call us at 1-800-293-2725. Upgrades require a serial number. Enter your current serial number in the Special instructions box on the checkout webpage.

How do I tell what version I have?

Look for a version number in one of these locations: the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM disc label, the Title, Credits, or Main Menu screen in the program, or the “Read me” file. If you purchased a product directly from us, call or email, we may be able to help you determine your license type and version number.

Is there a way I can preview a Tasa CD-ROM or DVD-ROM before paying for one?

Tasa Graphics has a preview policy for educational institutions only. Our products may be previewed for 30 days. Preview requests must be made on a valid purchase order or with a credit card. An invoice will be issued at the time of shipment. Preview materials must be returned within 30 days or the invoice must be paid. Credit will be issued only for products returned in clean, saleable condition. Before you return any product, call us at (575) 758-5535 or toll free at 1-800-293-2725 to receive a Return Authorization number.

Arches National Park Geology Tour Book and Enhanced Audio CD multimedia package is not available for preview. Opened Arches National Park Geology Tour Book and Enhanced CD multimedia package is not returnable.

Are quantity discounts available for your products?

Apps: All apps are Single User licenses. Volume purchases must be made through the appropriate store's volume purchase plan:

Windows Technical Support

How do I copy a program from the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM to my Hard Drive (or Network Server)?

Create a new folder on your disk drive, use File Explorer to select the entire contents of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, then copy the entire contents to the new folder on your disk drive. Make an alias to the .exe file in the new folder.

In a network environment, why can’t more than one user access the program?

When a Tasa program is copied to a network server, ONLY ONE USER can have WRITE access to the program. All users should have READ-ONLY access to the program (the folder that contains the files and all of its contents). You may have more than one "administrator" trying to access the program at the same time. In that case, only one of the users will be allowed to run the program.

Apple no longer supports QuickTime for Windows, which programs are affected?

The current versions of many or our CD-ROM products no longer require QuickTime for Windows. However these programs still require QuickTime:

We cannot say if or when these programs will be updated.

If you have a 64-bit version of XP or Vista.

Our programs were developed as 32-bit applications and are not supported on 64-bit versions of XP or Vista.

On Windows 7 the program cannot advance from the title screen.

On a few hardware configurations, this may happen when the audio output is not connected (you don’t have headphones or speakers connected). Make sure you have headphones or speakers connected and this problem will be solved.


Android Technical Support

Why do I see a dialog that says   “Connection required”   or    “Sign-in Required”  ?

Our Android apps that are sold through the Amazon Appstore app require that the Amazon Appstore be installed and that the device is signed-in to the user account on the Appstore to use these apps. Any message about “connectivity” or “sign-in” is actually coming from the Amazon Appstore app.

Each app receives a ‘token’ to verify that the app is owned by the device. Periodically that ‘token’ will be refreshed. This occurs most often when the app hasn’t been used for some time (the ‘token’ has expired), or when our app has been deleted and then reinstalled, or when the device OS has been updated. After each OS update, you will need to connect to the internet and sign-in to the Amazon Appstore to ‘refresh the token’.

Why do I see a dialog that says   “… is not optimized for your Mac.”  ?

Hold down the option key while you drag the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM icon to a location on your hard disk.


iOS Technical Support

How do you print from iOS?

You need an AirPrint enabled Wi-Fi printer. Visit this Apple Support page for more information:

If you are having trouble playing videos in our apps on iOS version 10.x.

To improve playback of videos on iOS 10.3, restart the app.

Switching between several apps on iOS 10.x may cause video playback problems.
